"Um... noooo..."

So I was at Wyldlife, a Christian club for middle schoolers, we do ALL sorts of "Wyld" things, and well I am a high school leader! :) We are always victimized, and embarrassed. All is good though because that is why we go. Tonight was nerd night... a Mom came and picked up her son afterwards and I said "Hi I am Makay! Thanks for driving him over here we had a blast!" She said, "Oh, do you go to school with "Bob"?" hahaha... "Um, no I have graduated the 8th grade- I am a Junior in highschool..." haha... She said, "Oh really? You hardly look like you are in 7th grade!" WHATTTTTT!??!?!?!?!?!? Dang...

Maybe it was the outfit.... or the braces? HAHA.

Ever since surgery people have thought I look younger, which I guess isn't a bad thing... haha, but I don't know... I want to look like a junior, not a 7th grader... ha...

What do you think?

  3. @Rosaposaa-

AHHHH! That is soooo exciting. I am so happy for you. Don't worry it is not as scary as you think. And I know I have told you like 3 times... but it is SO worth it. I am so much more confident. And I love my new look, not to mention I can bite anything, breathe out of my nose, and a ton of other awesome things.

BTW... that makes me so happy that I inspired you! That is exactly what this blog is for, and why I have it at all! :)

    Do you have a blog?

Make sure to tell me how your appt. goes. :)

    Love, Makay

  7. Thanks so much for the sweet note! You and your blog really are inspiring. Watching you go through it takes away a lot of the fears and just makes me excited to get it done! Oh, and be grateful for looking young! Even before the braces I had people tell me they didn't think I was old enough to be an attorney. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about that. But ever since I got into my 30s, I love it! I hope they keep thinking that!:)

    Keep up the great progress!
