Thank the Lord July 8th is almost here. I want this fixed, and I want it fixed now....
I hate my underbite, and yes these braces have widened my top pallate, which has been wonderful. But seriously it has mad my underbite look wayyyy worse! It has made my teeth perfectly parallel, whereas before they were on a slant. darn.
only 2 and 1/2 months left. :)

Felt exactly the same way. It is almost here though! Yay! Your teeth look super straight already..you won't have them on much longer after the surgery, right?

ReplyDeleteand yes. I will have braces on for about 10 months after surgery... that was my surgeons "guesstimation" so we will see. haha.

Oh I thought it would be more like 6 months. Your teeth look perfect already! I did hear from my ortho that you need to have braces on for at least 5-6 months after surgery. Well hopefully your time gets cut!
ReplyDeleteOoh I can really relate to that feeling! My bite used to look vaguely passable, but now it's dreadful - I can't even bear to smile at myself in the mirror or look at my side profile it sticks out so far! Still, it's good to know that your underbite's days are numbered, and if my current experiences are anything to go by, the more you want rid of it the less stressed you'll be in the run up to surgery. Hang in there :)

ReplyDelete@ Discantus... agreed. I cannot wait. and I know you can't either, so we should be good going into surgery. I just am so excited to walk in on the 1st day of school next year with a perfect bite! THAT IS GOING TO BE THE ULTIMATE! Good luck on your surgery. give us some pics. :)

ReplyDeleteI used to have an over bite, and I sill kind of do but I got that fixed by the orthodontist and i had braces for a long long time. :/
they're a pain but worth it!
